$MEMORY

The people who hold it are the investors.

There is no fund behind this. Trading fees on $MEMORY pay for the servers and the work, the product stays free while they do, and if it ever has to charge, that money goes back to the people who paid to build it.

Instead of raising

Money decides what a product becomes.

Take investment and the path is set: investors want an enterprise tier, enterprise wants seats and an admin console, and a personal memory layer with an admin console has stopped being personal. It is a good business and it is not this one.

So the token funds it instead. Fees from $MEMORY trades go to a published treasury that pays for storage, delivery and development - and nobody who wants a different product has a say in what gets built.

Why it can be free

A hundred thousand memories cost about a thousand a month.

No AI runs on our servers. Every bit of the analysis happens inside the agent you already pay for, so what we pay for is storage and delivery - roughly a cent per person per month. Most products cannot say that, because most products pay for inference on your behalf.

That is why free is a real commitment rather than a launch promise. It also means the treasury is mostly paying for somebody to keep building, which is the thing investment usually buys - and the thing this replaces.

If it ever charges

Repaid by how long you held, not how early you sold.

If usage outgrows what fees cover, the product introduces pricing - announced sixty days ahead, with the numbers that triggered it, and with a free tier that survives it. That revenue is distributed to holders.

A holder’s share is weighted by how long they have held continuously, up to a year. Hold for twelve months and you count at full weight; buy the week before and you count at a twelfth. Selling resets the clock. A flat split would be farmed by people buying the day before and leaving the day after, diluting everyone who actually funded the build - this makes that trade worthless.

No staking, no lockup, nothing to hand over. It is read from balance history on chain, so there is no contract holding your tokens and nothing to be drained.

What we gave up

Nobody inside can sell into you.

Fixed supply, fully circulating from the first day. Nothing is held back, so nothing unlocks onto you later.

No presaleNo team allocationNo dev buyNo private roundNo unlock schedule

And one commitment that costs us more than the others: we do not chase volume. No listing pushes, no volume incentives, no market making, no engagement farming. A project funded by trading fees is under permanent pressure to become a token marketing operation that ships nothing, and the only defence is refusing in advance, in public. If fees fall short we introduce pricing. We do not go manufacture trades.

Every month

Three numbers, including the bad ones.

What the treasury took in trading fees this month.
Costs out

Runway
Months of committed cost the treasury can cover.

Published on the same day each month from a treasury address anyone can check, in months that look good and months that do not. It replaces the board meeting nobody outside a cap table gets to see.

The code is open source, the profile schema is published, and export in an open format is permanent. If we stop, you get notice, a final export window, and software that still runs without us.

Planned, and not launched. There is no supply, no sale is open, and no date is set. The product may never charge, fees may stay small, and a distribution may never happen - anyone holding on the assumption of one is betting on a product that has not shipped. Nothing here is an offer, a solicitation, or investment advice, and nothing here is a statement about price. True Memory works without a token and will continue to.

Start now

Your AI forgets you. Give it a memory.

Opening in small batches so the first profiles get looked at properly.

One email when it opens. Nothing else, and no sharing.

Why any of this

Nobody starts the day from nothing.

You arrive at every decision carrying everything you have ever kept - and that is the only reason you can make one quickly. Your agent arrives with none of it, every single time. That is the whole gap, and it is the only thing we are building.
